Artisan Water Mixable Oil Paint (1.25 oz.) - PAYNES GRAY

A dark blue gray made from a mix of Ultramarine, Mars Black, and sometimes Crimson, Payne's Gray was named for water color artist William Payne.

The artisan brand of water mixable oil paints do not contain hazardous solvents. They have been mixed to apply like conventional oils. 

There is no water within this product. However, the safflower and linseed oils have been filtered to let the colors accept water. The special mixture allows each color's characteristics to be enhanced.

Artisan's Water Mixable Paints have a thick buttery construction, which allows for a variety of techniques to be used in the creation of works. The product line can be thinned according to the artist's needs.
