AMACO Metal Enameling Kilns - MK-4

The MK-4 kiln is a low-voltage kiln suitable for use with standard 120v household electrical currents, making it ideal for firing smaller items like teapots and bowls smaller than 4” X 4”. It can make use of the latest in computer controlled firing systems for low-voltage kilns, the Select Fire EXP computer control unit (not included). The MK-4 has several useful features including panels with 14 gauge steel frames on the front and back and 18 gauge cold roll sheet metal shells for added strength. The easy lift-up door has a peephole so you can view your work while it’s firing. The firebrick insulation will reduce radiant temperature, creating more efficient and safer usage. The MK-4 uses high-grade Kanal heating elements in the top of the firebrick and utilizes an infinite control switch to regulate temperatures. The unit comes with a 2-year warranty.
