The AMACO Excel Kiln Series EX-270 includes a control box and an 8" stand. This model is also available with the optional EZ-LIFT, a strong spring hinge for easy lid operation. This versatile kiln is a must-have for the professional studio.
EX-270 features include:
The ability to fire up to Cone 10 at 240V single or three phase, or 208V three phase. This kiln can also fire to Cone 06 at 208V single phase.
This large capacity kiln has a 23 3/8" diameter chamber that is 27" deep, for 7 cubic feet of space.
The 2 1/2" of firebrick means the chamber is well insulated for efficient firing.
The two-position, steel bar secures the lid for safe operation.
Lid and bottom slab are reversible, giving extended life to the kiln.
Six Kanthal A-1 elements and your choice of control box, switches, and kiln timers and sitters, gives you control over temperature regulation and firing times.
