Basically, when it comes to genetic research in China, there is nothing to slow or stop experimentation. This may be a good or a bad thing, depending on the results. Chinese scientists are forging ahead to explore areas of science unheard of prior to this time. What used to be the stories of science fiction and monster movies are now potential realities. Creating life in China is not something scientist aspire to do, it is something that even a graduate PhD student can accomplish easily and is regularly done in China.

The research in China that is the focus of this DVD is about trying to create a race of super-intelligent humans.  One young Chinese scientist named Zhao Bowen, who is only 18-years old, is quoted as saying that intelligence is an attribute equivalent to eye color and that humans should be intentionally bred to possess these characteristics. He made a study of more than 2,500 intellectually gifted children in China to attempt to isolate the genetic dynamic that caused the appearance of genius.

Having smart people to help the human race sounds great at first glance, until one considers the downside or eliminating those that do not meet the intelligence profile. This is the same kind of genocide promoted by the Nazis in Germany and in total goes against the powers of Darwin's theory of natural selection.The Chinese may breed a race of super intelligent humans that have a genetic defect and get sick because of the lack of genetic diversity. Serious safety questions remain unanswered, and China does not want to wait in progress towards genetic manipulation of the human race.
