The Clio Awards is an international competition designed to recognize creativity in advertising. Held annually like the Oscars and Emmy Awards, winners in various advertising categories are awarded a Clio. Unlike their more famous counterparts however, gold, silver and bronze Clios are awarded. Categories include print, film, digital, audio and others. Clios have been given out for over 50 years. This DVD is a compilation of the 2009 Clio Awards. Entries featured in the video include: Hallmark's Brother of the Bride, Coca-Cola's Heist, Nike's This is your Final Wake-up Call, and Trojan Condom's Walk for Safe Sex. The DVD also includes Dance from T-Mobile, Volkswagen Golf's Fight, Audi Q5's Unboxed, and Mercedes-Benz's Presence. These ads are sometimes comical, poignant, and thought-provoking. Each uses a unique approach to gain attention, tell a story, and brand the product they are associated with.
