Designing, Manufacturing, and Evaluating a Product (Enhanced DVD)
This film takes a close look at how a product is made from start to finish. This includes the designing stage where items are thought up and compared to existing products that do similar jobs to see if the new concept will be desired or not. You will see designers speak with clients to find out if they can get into their minds to prepare the same vision in a tangible form. The manufacturing process is then explored, showing different methods of building and how to make sure the material list is estimated for the best value. The end product is then evaluated with the use of a prototype to see if all needs have been met in the construction process.
