RICHESON SMALL PRESS STEEL BED PLATE (Long)

A long steel bed plate intended for use with the small Richeson 13” printing press. Steel offers the advantage of being stronger than phenolic bed plates, and this steel is very durable. Richeson printing presses are some of the highest quality made anywhere. This steel bed plate is hard to find in some of the Richeson 13” printing press packages, but it can be purchased separately here. Many packages contain the phenolic bed plate which is lighter in weight than steel but isn’t necessarily as strong. A good choice for a wide range of printmaking techniques including etching, engraving and more.
