The Gerstner Apprentice Base is designed to fit beneath any 20-inch wide Gerstner Tool Chest. It is both a beautiful and practical addition to your Gerstner storage solution. B2104. Currently this base fits under the following models: 49AT, 49AR, 42 and 2007. Featuring a green felt interior, the base will safely hold valuables, small tools or machine parts without scratches or damage.

Collectors can secure their collection inside with the lockable front panel. With nickel-plated hardware and a hardwood finish in three options of Natural Walnut, Golden Oak and American Cherry, this unit will enrich your workspace decor. Optional features are Stop-Trac System and brass hardware (no extra charge). An additional shipping charge of $17.50 is applied. Please see videos below for more information.

This is by far the best base available. However, there are blemishes (sanding errors) on the face of the unit that tarnish the otherwise perfect piece. Not bad enough to return to sender, but enough to make me question the reputation of the builder. Still, I would by again. But my expectations are lowered.
