Alvin Designmaster Base Only-Gray This tough, sturdy drafting table base is painted with a powder-coated, electrostatic coat of sleek black paint. Every metal surface is scratch-resistant to keep this base looking good longer. To make it sturdy enough to stand up to years of heavy use, it is made from 18-gauge steel tubing. The table legs are welded to create a 3" x 2" post to give the table the best stability and to create rigidity.
