The Day I Got the Sack: Gemma's Story (Enhanced DVD)
Gemma’s dreams of a musical career are squashed by X Factor’s Simon Cowell on television. Although she is defeated she is still motivated to pursue a musical career. However, her rejection has caused her to doubt whether or not she can accomplish her dream. Shaa Wasmund helps inspire Gemma and confirms her ability by hiring a music coach. She helps improve Gemma’s fan base outside of X Factor fans by using Bebo, a social networking site, and her profile page gets 22,000 visits in just one week. She also gets a job as a band promoter which she can use to supplement her performance earnings. (24 minutes)
