    The DX is designed for heavy-duty applications. It features feature a micro HEPA filter, up to double the standard amount of activated carbon. This unit features an extra-deep 26 lbs. carbon bed, which increases dwell time, allowing more chemicals, gases and odors to be absorbed. The DX is also manufactured with a quiet fan, cylindrical shape to maximize airflow and is mounted on casters for easy manoeuvrability

    THE DX has more carbon then a D. IT also has a thicker carbon Cannister. Thickness is important because if gives more resistance to the air, thereby pulling out chemicals more effectively.
