Unison Pastel 72 pc Sets

Handmade in the Northumberland area of England, these pastels are made by hand, as with dough. The luscious colors and soft pastels of Unison are a recent addition (1980s) to the art scene, and reflects modern thinking in its unqiue and dynamic range of colors and a standardized consistency. They've been shown in polls to be pastel artists' favorite brand. Each color was developed independently and combined to form a full spectrum of colors; they are simply pigments with a binder to form sticks of color. This brand is particularly suited to landscape work because its hues remain true to its base pigments without relying too much on white or black. The colors in this set are intended to provide artists with vibrant materials to work with that are particularly suited to landscape work. The only limitation of these beautiful colors is the skill of the artist.
