AMACO Master Kiln Series - HF-97 Kiln with Select Fire, three phase, 208V AC

The AMACO HF-97 kiln is a medium-capacity kiln that fires to cone 10, giving the unit a wide range of heating temperatures. This unit features 4.5 inches of insulation combined, which makes the unit safe for use in medium-sized classrooms and provides the kiln with a low radiant temperature. 1/8” of steel frames in back, 11 gauge steel frames in front and 18 gauge steel shells protect the heating chamber. The chamber itself has 3.38 cubic feet of space, an ideal size for school use.

The HF-97 is a top-loading unit and the refractory material-backed lid sits atop rope made of ceramic fiber that envelops the chamber. These factors create a snug seal that reduces heat loss when firing.

The heating elements are built with high-grade Kanthal 14 gauge wires and are seated securely within recessed grooves deep inside the firing chamber walls and are easy to remove.

The kiln has a five-year warranty and for firing controls, you can chose either the Select FireTM computer control or the Kiln-Sitter and Limit Timer plus Pyrometer. You’ll be eligible to receive $100 in AMACO glaze products.
