AMACO Fine Art Kilns - FA-88 Kiln with Select Fire, single phase, 220/240V AC

The FA-88 front-loading kiln has 6” of insulation and a 2.83 cubic foot firing chamber capacity. It’s lower radiant temperature and size make it ideal for classroom and small studio use. The FA-88 is suitable for enameling metal, painting china and decorating glass thanks to its lower firing temperature. The kiln has 1/8" steel frames, 11 gauge steel frames on top, 18 gauge steel in the kiln shell for incredible resilience. The high-quality Kanthal 14 gauge heating coils are embedded securely in deep recessed grooves in the firing chamber walls but can be removed easily. The steel door has refractory materials for increased strength at high temperatures, and the door itself fits snugly and securely, making it easier to stack kilns.

The FA-88 uses Select Fire ^TM computer control for firing accuracy, convenience and consistent results. The kiln fits perfectly on the optional Fine Art cabinet base (pictured) which includes room for storing supplies and kiln furniture.
