This Excel kiln from AMACO (the highly successful American Art Clay Company, known for specializing in both quality and safety), is just the answer. Coming equipped with Select Fire computer control, this kiln uses three phases in its firing process to ensure that each piece is fired fully to perfection. This high-powered kiln also comes available with "EZ Lift", which is a special spring-loaded hinge that makes opening and shutting the kiln to load and unload it a breeze. A reinforced steel bar also serves to help secure the kiln's lid during use (both loading and unloading).

This model is 22.75 inches in diameter, complete with a 2.5-inch fire brick and a firing chamber of 6.57 cubic feet. The kiln fires to cone 10.
