An AMACO Excel Kiln is an excellent purchase for every artisan from amateur hobbyists to professional craftsmen. Thanks to the Select Fire control system, you get the precise control and consistency that you need so that you can spend more time creating and less time monitoring your firings. You can set the kiln by temperature or by cone number at a slow, medium, or fast pre-set firing program. You can also create and store up to six temperature change segments.

The AMACO Excel Kiln features an EZ-Lift industrial strength, spring-loaded hinge for easy opening and closing. The two-position, reinforced steel bar keeps the lid in place while you load and unload your wares. The kiln is 28” wide and 17 3/4” deep with a 6.6 cubic foot firing chamber cavity. The bottom and top slabs are both reversible, which greatly extends the life of the kiln.
