The French Mistress is easily portable and works well oon my French box easel for long model poses. I'm able to mix flesh tones in advance and carry them to the studio. Once there, I simply open it, place it on the easel and I'm ready to paint. Makes the four-hour session more productive and pleasurable.

The box design is great, but with taxes and shipping, the cost came to $ 121 (CAN); ad customs on top of that, and my total price was $ 164 - definitely too expensive for a Canadian buyer. In addition, two corners were damaged during shipping and I had to install reinforcing angle irons.

I just received my lovely "French Companion" box. It is so beautifully made, I know I will get many good years of painting from this item. I received it in a reasonable amount time and checked many other venders, this was by a large margin, the most reasonably priced.
