Nightingale Murder: Leave No Trace (Enhanced DVD)

(DISCONTINUED) Nightingale Murder: Leave No Trace (Enhanced DVD) On September 23, 2004, Cecilia Nightingale was found by the police, murdered in her flat in Oxford. Nightingale, who frequently sold tobacco and cigarettes to the homeless, picked up 49 year-old Daniel Hugging in a taxi on September 22 before traveling to her home.

After the ride, Huggins returned back at a residence he and his son were staying at that night sweating profusely, disheveled and acting strangely, while carrying a sack filled with cash, tobacco and several mobile phones belonging to the victim. Later, he would confess the murder to his son Daniel. Daniel called his sister asking for advice, who called the police and reported the crime.

This gripping documentary follows the case and the information the police and the Forensic Alliance scientists managed to piece together. Watch actual CCTV footage along with interviews from family members to see how those involved in the case uncovered what happened to Cecilia Nightingale the night in question.

Modern forensic testing techniques can be used to uncover extensive details about what previously seemed like a crime committed for no purpose. The types of forensic tests that can be used as evidence include DNA and blood tests, ballistics tests, hair and fiber analysis and much more. Forensic evidence by itself is extremely powerful in the courts of most countries and can be used as some of the primary evidence to convict a defendant.

55 year old Cecilia Nightingale was murdered and the crime sent shockwaves throughout the city of Oxford. Although the killing seemed to be without a clear motive at the start, Forensic Alliance scientists and the police were able to piece together evidence and find out who was responsible and what exactly happened.
