Anyone who owns the Gerstner 2007 Tool Chest can feel the rich tradition and history that surrounds it. (Previous Gerstner Style #41D.) Ideal for machinists, artists or anyone who needs to store small tools or parts for regular usage, this stylish chest was introduced by H. Gerstner & Songs during the 1910's. The chest is large enough to hold machinist's tools and stands out in an office or workshop due to the classic wood style. It can also be used for valuable collections or jewelry making. This simple design can blend with any style decor and the rich wood adds warmth to any room. You can watch this video for an introduction to the Gerstner 41D.
With high-quality tongue-and-groove construction, this chest can be locked to keep sticky fingers away. It comes standard in American Cherry wood with brass hardware, however an upgrade to Golden Oak with nickel hardware can be ordered for an additional charge of $30. The lid for the front of the chest folds up over the drawers and can be locked to secure items. The top part of the chest is locked with the top lid. This chest fits on top of RB90, MB90A, B49A and B42B.
The Golden Oak version has green felt interiors which will cushion valuable contents against damage from movement; the American Cherry version has brown felt interiors. One drawer is designed specifically to hold a machinist's handbook. FREE Shipping on this item. See additional options below.
