Ms. Haien a graduate of the University of Michigan was not only an innovative concert pianist but taught at Mannes College of Music from 1969 to 1991. She spread her love of classical music throughout the world touring Europe, Asia and Central America during the 1960's and 1970's. Not only was she a pianist and teacher but an author. Ms. Haien was interviewed by Bill Moyer about her book "The All of It". Ms. Haien discussed not only her novel but her philosophy regarding music most particular her views regarding performances and composition of music. Ms. Haien believed that regardless of form art does enhance an individual's life. Only Bill Moyers could have conducted this well produced informative interview of a woman in many ways was ahead of her times.
