Choose between Natural Oak (lighter) finish or Medium Oak (darker) finish:

Medium Oak - i.e. with medium stain (this is Our standard finish for these Oak Flat Files.)

Natural Oak - i.e. no stain, with a coat of lacquer.
Standard: Drawers slide wood on wood.

Choose (optional) Accuride(tm) Steel Ball Bearing Drawer Suspension System for drawers bearing weight of 100 lbs. while fully extended! Available only in drawer sizes 24" x 36" for an additional $89.99 and 30" x 42" for an additional $99.99

All units are constructed of oak. Drawer sides are made from the highest quality solid wood drawer material. Drawer bottoms are tempered, smooth two sides hardboard. Drawer fronts are solid oak, bullnosed four sides and fitted with solid brass architectural drawer pulls. All units are stackable and made in three standard sizes for papers up to 24 x 36, 30 x 42 and 36 x 48. Available in Natural Oak or Medium Oak stain.

1) What is the height of the whole thing?
The overall height of the 3648 series are:
3648-3D (3-drawer file): 11-1/8"
3648-5D (5-drawer file): 17-5/8"
3648-C (cap): 1" with 1/4" overhang (only adds 3/4" to the overall assembly)
3648-FB (flush base): 3-1/4"
2) What is the size of the drawers? Depth?
The drawers are 37" x 49" to fit a maximum paper size of 36" x 48" with approximately 1/2" extra space on each side. The depth of each drawer is 1-3/4".
3) What are the handles made out of?
The handles are made of almond colored plastic. You can also order them in white or black plastic at no extra charge. Other options are brass, polished chrome, or brushed chrome at an additional cost of $2.50 per handle. {Please note custom handles request in comment box at check-out.}
