Alvin Rotatrim 61" Technical Trimmer

The Alvin Rotatrim 61" Technical Trimmer is an industrial strength trimmer that can be used at home as well as at a shop. The self-sharpening tungsten steel cutting wheel can easily slice through extra thick and dense materials while seamlessly cutting through something as thin as tissue paper. The end supports and head are made of cast metal while the 1 1/2" square guide bar is made with chromed steel. The clamping bar is constructed with aluminum and it has an automatic release. This amazing trimmer has 3 pressure rollers and a gripper that's rugged in texture for firm clamping. The baseboard is 11" wide and also made of aluminum. The trimmer can cut in both directions by removing the overload plate for cutting thin materials both ways. The Alvin Rotatrim comes with a factory set rule, and all models 1550 and above include baseboard extension rods to support large materials. The removable rods extend the total depth to 28" by sliding into the aluminum baseboard. The trimmer is shipped in a wooden crate, except for the T650 and the T950. Rotatrim trimmers are guaranteed against defects and malfunctioning materials. Cutting blades and clampstrips are not covered by guarantee since they are prone to normal wear and tear.
