The base consists of two solid maple pedestal-type contoured panel legs and two truss bars, also made of solid maple, using tenon joint and mortise construction with draw bolt reinforcement. All wood is sealed and finished with multiple layers of lacquer. Other features include a durable work surface topped with 1-1/4-inch almond plastic laminate with a center horizontal dividing panel, and grommets for cable management.
