Count Basie Video(VHS/DVD). William Basie is considered one of the most subtle jazz pianists in the history of this unique art form. He easily earned his title of "Count," as excerpts from a filmed jazz session here prove. In total, the program presents both a personal and an artistic portrait of this jazz aristocrat, who spoke and acted as eloquently as he played.
