W&N WINTON OIL #3 BURNT UMBER (1.25fl.oz.)

W&N combines the best in pigment making tradition with the latest technology. Rather than reducing the amount of pigment in a product in order to create a less expensive paint, W&N oils are manufactured from moderate cost pigments that offer good coverage and tint capacity. Not as costly as other high priced pigment products, W&N oils still provide higher quality product line than most other less expensive brands.

Available in a choice of 49 colors, W&N ensures that each color is specifically manufactured to produce the best natural features of every pigment. These paint products have a uniform and smooth consistency and their slight stiffness, offers great retention of knife marking and brush stroking.  The level of gloss varies depending on the color choice but the sheen is uniform throughout the entire pigment range.

The #3 Burnt Umber pigment offers a deep dark brown color and is formulated using natural clay from the earth. Named after Umbria, Italy where the clay was mined, its color is intensified by a process where the raw pigment is burned.
