Recently, however, new interest has been generated in Piero's paintings, particularly in his use of a mathematically based perspective. In this program, original drawings, sophisticated computer graphics, and virtual reality are combined with expert commentary to analyze his use of math to create idealized geometrical forms. Piero's sense of spatial vision and unique use of light are illustrated in a series of paintings and illustrations.
