The SelectFire Controller grants precision with each firing with a range of features that for convenience and safety, including:

Cone Fire Mode: Preprogrammed schedules optimize firing at user-input speed, cone number, and hold time. It slows down automatically during critical phases to prevent cracking and other mishaps.

Ramp & Hold Mode: Users may design their own firing schedules with up to 8 segments, each including a rate, temperature, and hold time. Up to 6 custom schedules can be stored in memory.

Delay & Alarm: Users can input a particular temperature that will trigger the alarm to sound and may also delay the start of a kiln fire to save energy by firing during off-peak hours.

It provides power failure, thermocouple failure, and microprocessor failure detection for safety. The control panel is sealed and washable and the readout is capable of displaying F or C degrees. It offers 3 firing speeds and can fire from Cone 022 to Cone 10.
