A unique carriage allows switching tool plates for knife or router or other saws. This makes Saw Trax's machine ideal for the professional signmaker and cabinet maker.

3. When your needs change, upgrade your panel saw. Add additional tool inserts, frame extensions or options. There are ten foot wide welded frames available for the 52", 64" and 76" cross cut full size models.

4. You can use a saw, router or knife cutter in the same carriage to take care of all of your sheet cutting needs. This would save a sign shop the cost of a mat cutter.

5. You can easily replace a saw, guide tube or fence. This eliminates long down time and lost production time. It also eliminates the need to replace the whole machine.

Unlike the specialized saws of other machines, Saw Trax's panel saws use an off the shelf Porter Cable 324MAG 15 amp saw . Dust hook up is standard. Blade changes are a snap. You can bevel cut or vary your depth of cut. Saw blades, 7 ¼", are cheaper, compared to 8", and so are replacement costs. A Bosch Worm Drive and Milwaukee 10" saw is available.

Panel Saws and Panel Routers

Why buy a panel saw?
First, vertical panel saws are fast and easy to use by one person. Secondly, they take up much less floor space than table saws. Lastly, they are much safer to use than table saws or cutting free hand. If you are going to be cutting sheets of material on a regular basis, a vertical panel saw is the way to go.

Why buy a Saw Trax panel saw?

Accu-Square alignment
The Patented Accu-Square™ is an indexed alignment system that is found exclusively on all Saw Trax machines. Your machine is factory aligned and should never go out of alignment. Unlike other panel saws, our rollers don't adjust so we only have one point of alignment that locks in place.

Makita 5007N off the shelf industrial saw with outstanding dust collection. Uses a 2.25" hose, dust hood with window and dust containment brush under saw.
Accu-Glide Bearings

This bearing system gives you an incredible smooth and light feel while making the carriage more precise when moving it up and down on the guide rails. This is standard on all Saw Trax Machines.

Floating Router Insert
Drops down onto your material to follow the contours, twists and bows of your sheets so you get a constant depth cut even if your material is bowed, warped or twisted.

OLFA Knife Insert
This insert turns your panel saw into a sheet cutter. You can cut foam board, corrugated PVC, Cardboard, Coroplast and score dry wall. Included in Sign Makers package.


Freedom Floating Saw
Best dust collection in the industry. This saw drops down on your material like the floating router to trap and catch your saw dust.

Frame Dust Collection add on
Attaches to the bottom frame of the panel saw. This collects most of the dust before it hits the floor.

Stop and Strip bar
Quickly measure and make repetitive cuts. Saves you time and money. Strip bar allows easy and repeat cutting of strips. Included with all packages.

Rip Pointers
For fast and easy set ups of length wise cuts. For ripping in both directions, an upper and lower pointer are used. Included with all packages.

Stand and Wheels
5" Wheels
For portablility and mobility, Factory Attached. The stand can be folded from the front like a ladder. When the machine is tilted vertically, the weight shifts to big 5" wheels. The machine can be easily moved into a cutting position or out of the way for storage or through a doorway. Uses 10 locknuts, ladder hinges and is cross braced.


Dust Brush under saw
Dust Brush under saw contains saw dust so you don't end up looking like a snow man after a rip cut.
Laser Alingment System


Add a laser line to your panel saw to check the cut line of your saw or knife. Great for trimming prints in the sign industry. Available for all Panel Saws and Dual Arm Saw.

Mid Fence
Allows for easy waist high cuts. Instead of cutting small pieces on the bottom of the machine, use the removable lip of the mid fence to hold small pieces. Remove the lip when cutting larger sheets.


Saw Blades
A variety of specialized saw blades are available. They are designed to cut Aluminum or aluminum composites, plastics or acrylics and wood.
Spring Hold Down

Spring fingers keep non-rigid or thin material held against the frame when cutting. There is an adjusting knob to vary the hold down tension according to the thickness of the material. Included with Sign Makers Package.


Floating Router Table
This machine is best used for cross routing straight lines, blind dados or as an overhead router table. It has two different bearing systems. One is for movement of the carriage on the guide rails. This makes the router feel weightless on the carriage. The second system is used to allow the router to move up and down vertically on the material. This "float" ensures constant depth dados on warp, twisted or bowed material.


Capability: 32" cross dado, Unlimited rip dado, 2+11/16" drop of router.


Dual Arm Saw
Dual Arm Saw, cuts faster and cleaner than a radial arm.
Ideal for cross cutting counter tops.
