 View a Preview Clip Janet D’Esopo Sculptor & Painter Landscape Painting: Old San Juan Jan D’Esopo is a talented artist who is also a wonderful teacher, with a multitude of ideas and suggestions to share. Everything is covered from the materials and subject matter to final highlights and special effects that give the painting panache. In the three demonstrations, Jan gives wonderful lessons in how to capture the right elements in a landscape painting. The Institute of Puerto Rican Culture have used her talents and paintings for many years. At Ponce de Leon’s famous home, Jan does a complete sketch of the scene she has chosen, and then a small acrylic watercolor rendition. In her garden studio, Jan uses the small sketch to start the finished painting. |
