Product Description:

If you are looking to inspire your own little Beethoven, you will need to get him or her one of the Schoenhut Upright Pianos - 37 Key Day Care Durable.  If you are looking for a "toy" piano, you have come to the wrong place.  Instead, this piano is more like a scaled down version of the real thing.  Not only is it fun for a budding pianist to play, but it is built in such a way that it doesn't impede the progress of a child as he uses it.  The keyboard is built to half the size of a full-size piano, with plenty of room to let youngsters play with both hands.  And despite the fact that sounds are created with hammers that strike little German-made music rods as opposed to strings, it produces beautiful sounds that are as much as the real thing as can be.  These pianos are made of durable maple, birch, and hardwood and come in black, white, oak and mahogany finishes.  And the Schoenhut play by color system will have your little tyke playing songs before you know it.  It's simple and fun to use. If you are looking for an instrument that will develop your child's confidence and passion to learn more, you have found it.

This little toy piano is great. We bought it for our little 15-month old girl and 2.5 year old boy, who both love any music and dance. The size is just right for this age group ( our kids are a little big, both over 100th percentile, so 2-4yr size). Being a musician, the 37-key range is nice and helps to allow for a greater range of sounds and songs that can be played. Note it is a "toy" piano and has the "toy piano" sound, but is surprisingly in tune. The construction is rather poor in places, but the finish is almost perfect (ironic). Overall, Madison is the place to buy it! They matched another vendor who treated us horribly and saved the day! Our little ones are happy and so are we! You won't be disappointed if you buy it from Madison.
